Rick's other passions include photography & scuba diving. Living in Arizona limits the scuba fun but the photo opportunities are endless. A videographer of many years, Rick became involved with photography with the advent of digital and started with the Minolta Dimage X, a basic point and shoot camera. Soon after, he upgraded to the Dimage Xt, a more advanced version but still point and shoot. After winning 3 weekly contests with Minolta over the past couple years he was awarded the grand prize in Minolta's "Photo of the Year" contest for 2003. He took the winnings and invested in the Minolta Dimage A2, a serious "prosumer" camera with a 4 gig Hitachi hard drive that will carry him to the next level. |
