Rick Cucuzza began his career on bass guitar. He loved the power and full sound of the bass, but he soon moved on to guitar which offered a more expressive way of getting the music out. 15 years later he found the Chapman Stick. Immediately he knew this was the instrument for him. Now he has the best of both. A powerful bass instrument as well as an articulate melodic vehicle, all on one neck and played simultaneously. For over 36 years Rick has composed and played his own style of music. This instrument is a source of inspiration in his quest to create his head turning tunes.
